Argeo – an introduction

The positions of Operations Manager and Operations Supervisor.

The two positions will work closely together handling the daily operations as well as participate in the planning of future operations, both national and international.  Both reports to the COO.

Argeo focus on four market segments: Oil and Gas, Offshore Wind, Infrastructure and Deep Sea Minerals. The persons will handle a broad aspect of national and international operations towards the four main market segments.  This requires close contact with internal stakeholders, suppliers and the client in planning and execution of projects. Together they will manage all aspects of the operations to ensure Argeo delivers high quality data and solutions to clients, and in accordance with contracts and regulations. 

Key tasks and responsibilities Operations Manager

  • General management of operations
  • Control of aspects related to operations and operational cost/OPEX
  • Monitoring overall compliance of the operations and in accordance with contracts
  • Overview of relevant regulations in countries where Argeo operates
  • Responsible for operational performance and overall quality of service
  • Crew resource forecast
  • Contribute to bidding process and project planning
  • Responsible for management of HSEQ performance

 

Key tasks and responsibilities Operations Supervisor

  • Support onboard crew to ensure compliance with company’s HSEQ policy
  • Through regular contact assist and support the crew in all technical aspects
  • Attend pre-operational meetings
  • Actively participate in Project Risk Assessments and Tender/Bid prosess
  • Review and update of Project Plans and coordinate with Tenders/Sales
  • Ensure the operation is equipped according to specifications
  • Ensure proper utilization of crew and that special crew requirements are evaluated and addressed
  • Review and update of work-instructions and procedures
  • Assist in technical evaluation of staff as well as recruitment of new employees for offshore operations

 

Who are we looking for?

You have experience from similar positions and with a background from seismic, IMR or survey operations.  A mix of technical and operational background is preferred. 

It`s also important to have experience from international operations and being able to handle multiple operations ins a fast-paced environment.
