As a SaaS-company, we provide customers with data-driven insight into all areas of logistics, product & customer profitability, customer experience and the environment. Kinver products are a gamechanger for existing and new customers who want to gain data-driven insights into their business without having to hire business analysts, setup their own data warehouse, cloud solutions and maintain them.

Kinver has grown rapidly since 2020, with our software products being used by industrial companies with complex supply-chains and logistics. Kinver's business model is built around our technology platform and flagship product - Kinver Engine. Our frontend applications, entitlement systems and frontend APIs are mature, configurable and scalable; offering advanced functionality, deep insights and a great user experience to customers.

We are 14 employees in a modern office in Oslo, Norway, and we are expanding rapidly. Now we are looking for a senior frontend-tilted full stack developer with a strong background in Angular, NodeJS and TypeScript. You will be building on top of a solid code base when working on our flagship product and you will also be working on near-frontend backend services and other projects. As a senior team member, you will be responsible for developing best practices and making architectural decisions while tackling hard problems to improve the platform’s reliability, resiliency, and scalability.

About the role

The Frontend Platform Team at Kinver is building interactive web applications. We are looking for a full stack developer who can help us build new interactive features with engaging user interfaces for our customers and optimizing our core modules and components for high performance. Together with our data platform team and analytics team, you will work together to improve our products, scale our systems, and continuously improve our engineering practices. 

Building the SaaS we have focused on always improving, using modern frameworks, languages and tools. Today our entire stack consists of Typescript, Angular, NodeJS, Firebase, Procedural Language SQL, C#, Java and Python built on VMs as well as serverless infrastructure in Google Cloud Platform and Azure. We are not demanding knowledge in all parts of our tech stack, but we thought that you would be curious to know. We hope that you will also take part in influencing our technical roadmap and our tech stack – maybe you have an ace up your sleeve that will revolutionize our products?

Your specific tasks

• Code primarily in Typescript, using Angular and NodeJS.
• Use your experience of full-stack engineering to craft intelligent solutions that include front-end, client, and back-end systems.
• Keep ensuring our web applications stay at state-of-the-art by modernizing the technology stack and deliver integration opportunities
• Look for optimization possibilities focusing on latency and throughput performance tuning, multi-threading, scalability, and reliability
• Work together with our product design team to create beautiful user experiences
• Deliver testable, maintainable, and high-quality code and take operational responsibility for the components and modules that you develop.
• Perform code reviews and provide feedback to less experienced colleagues

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a full stack developer, with at least three years of experience within frontend development. You have solid programming skills in Typescript, Angular (version 10+) and NodeJS.

You are experienced with larger interactive web applications and interacting with APIs (i.e. Rest/Websockets). You are proficient in writing / analyzing and optimizing SQL queries, and have knowledge in data modelling and data storage techniques. Some familiarity with cloud ready technologies and micro-services architecture are considered a benefit.

Apart from this, we hope that you can work all the way from high level architecture design down to efficient code, you have an attention to detail and a desire for end-to-end ownership of deliverables. You should be comfortable working in an experimental and fast-paced work environment.
