Welcome to D-Fetch - “IoT powering gym equipment”
D-Fetch has developed a cloud based, cost- and user-friendly solution that monitors the use of all gym equipment. It helps you quickly understand how to improve the operations of your gym, by giving the members a better experience, increase capacity and reduce cost. We bring facts to support decisions on all levels, from top management, regional management, business development and maintenance, to club managers and frontline staff.
In the summer of 2022, D-Fetch acquired its hardware provider, Meshtech, in order to offer end-to-end IoT capabilities to its customers. Outside of the fitness industry, the combined hardware and software/analytics capabilities of the two companies will enable expansion into existing and new areas, such as healthcare and industrial optimization.
D-Fetch has already more than 30 000 sensors deployed in seven countries - and records more than 40 million data points every day. We are expanding rapidly and are looking for a new Head of Sales to help us through the next exciting leg of our journey.
The position
As our new Head of Sales, you will be given the opportunity to combine sales, networking and technology with dedication and experience for gym operators, both nationally and internationally. You will be an integral part of driving sales and revenue towards customers. You will join a strong and eager team and help build our growth strategy, develop large accounts, and help D-Fetch and Meshtech at a very exciting time where the pace is rapid. You will collaborate very closely with the CEO and the rest of the team, as well as working with our clients in educating them about the product. The right candidate should have a drive and be eager to create a sales organization for D-Fetch and Meshtech over time.
There will be good support in place to help you deliver. D-Fetch is fully funded and have a strong main owner (Monte Rosa Capital), and you have great resources in place in relation to the product and its future development. It is also worth noting that among the owners, you will find several people with long experience from the fitness industry. Therefore, you can also learn about the industry if you come from a different background.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced salesperson who has strong drive and grit. You are motivated by success and growth. We have already a very solid team in place, and now we are looking for a person who will contribute to this even more. You should have experience with B2B Sales, commercialization and a good understanding or interest in technology. It is a plus if you have a similar role today, and that you have some previous team leader experience.

- Strong leadership skills and excellent communication skills in English.
- Extensive B2B-sales experience.
- Experience or interest in business and product development.
- You have a strong commercial mindset and a commercial track record.
- Good understanding of the operational side of things.
- Ability to motivate and create enthusiasm among the other team members.
- You want to contribute to build a good workplace culture.
- You are used to getting the best out of the resources at hand.
- Experience from, or interest in, the fitness and health industry.
- Bachelor or above in relevant fields. Very relevant experience for the role can compensate the lack of formal education.
Other key tasks and responsibilities:
- Drive sales and sales strategy together with the CEO and the rest of the team.
- Develop a close relationship with our existing customers.
- Work with large accounts in the beginning, then expanding the client portfolio.
- Continue to build our network of contacts within the international fitness industry.
- Education of customers on the product, as well as receiving feedback and help improve the product.
- Work with our customers on value proposition.
- “Walk the talk”: you will have to be hands-on, as well as being able to work strategically and see the bigger picture. We are looking for someone who is motivated by strategic, product-led sales processes.
